Fishing in the marshlands and enjoy your holiday inside the Vendée Breton marsh to fulfill your passion.
The Breton marsh contains a large amount of chains and canals, multipurpose fishing places where you will be able to catch all kinds of fish and crayfish.
We show you two fishing places within easy reach of Saint Jean de Monts, Sallertaine and Challans.

Take the direction north (Saint Gilles Croix de Vie road) to the bertreau way on the D59.
Au roundabout take the 3 exit on the D82 for 5km
Turn left towards Notre Dame de Monts the road of the old ring D51 then very quickly (150 m)
Turn right towards Notre Dame de Monts, the road of the large border D82 for 3 km
Finally, turn right and go park in the parking lot of the water tower “kulmino”, which can also be visited and which offers a breathtaking view of the whole Breton marsh.
You have arrived. The path is passable on 500 meters where it is possible to arrange a comfortable fishing corner. The fishing of roach, bream, eel, pikeperch can be practiced.

From your campsite near Sallertaine in Vendée, you will have several fishing spots near the campsite.
For the Sallertaine canal :
Take the North direction (to Saint Gilles Croix de vie road) to the Bertreau way on the D59.
At the roundabout take the first right towards Challans D205 for 4 km
At the roundabout take 3rd exit, road Sallertaine D103 for 4.5 km
Turn right Perrier road to Sallertaine (entrance to the village) D71 on 500m Turn left and bypass the old church.
Parking right you have arrived.
The canal is a little further on your left. Easily access, you can easily install your post. The proximity of canoe trips makes this area an ideal site for the whole family. Also, you will be able to visit Sallertaine, village of arts and trades.Gardons, breams and other white fish wait for you. Catfish are particularly fond of marsh areas, remember to remove it carefully, its bites are painful. In addition, fans of predator fishing will find their happiness the sander being present in this site.
